Public is the power- house of Indian democracy. In the last political collision each and every political stunts were carefully drafting to handle that power house.
After declaration of General election; political parties were more cohesive same as the earlier elections. The most sharing issued of this election was that; rest of some personal issues, propaganda, sleazing, celebrity moment and along with public frustration nothing had discussed whichever should have to be discussed.
At the last public election where the general public were running out of fundamental resources; on the place of resolving these issues political segments were busy with making impossible promises, overall last “Indian Political League” was moving around Varun Gandhi’s controversy, IPL (Indian Premier league) controversy, Salman khan’s multi party supportive campaigns, Amir Khan’s vote casting awareness campaign, Public frustration towards Political Buffs (L K Advani & P Chidambaram), Surrogate advertising, Corporate (TATA) vote casting awareness campaign, Mumbai Taj attack and racialism for North Indians like various issues.
Many few of us know that our general election cost is more than 10,000 crore, that is more than US presidential race (8,000 crore). Apart from this World Bank's World Development Report says that Indian youths are less interested in politics than their counterparts in China, U.S.A. U.K.and many other rich countries. This is not a good symbol for our country and democracy.
If politics and politicians of the generation before us have degraded, then it is time for a change in the attitudes towards politics in our youth. People who are educated and full of fresh ideas are certainly needed to pull this off. It won't be an easy task, but we need to start somewhere.
Youth of our nation need to be aware of the problems facing the country at large and propose solutions to these problems. Our system is such that politics is really the only way to execute these new and fresh ideas and bring about change in the lives of one billion Indians.
The youth should not listen to negative people who say, "Nothing will change" or "Politics is a dirty game" or "You are too nice to be a politician". These are the mindsets and ravings of negative minded people, who can never be productive unless they change these mindsets.
The youth of India need to begin the first steps in these directions. Politics may not be considered an 'in-thing' today. But it has to become the in-thing amongst youth, for a better India of tomorrow.
Only youth can change the scenario, they must come forward to show their power in such a way that our country grow in all way. Many of us not using their power to cast a vote then how it may be possible? It is our country and only we can concern about this so it is our responsibility to lead the country. We have our future in our own hand, either lighted or spoil.
